be-mobile league 2013 kicks off

The much awaited be-mobile premier league is set to begin, on Friday, September 13, 2013, but significantly with a big clash. After a long interesting transfer window the day has finally came to unveil that which was done for preparation during the pre-season.

Either quality or quantity that remains to be answered, but of great interest the opening game is between Peleng based Extension Gunners and cross city rivals Township Rollers. The two teams meet again in a space of a month after The Peleng outfit kicked out “Popa” last month on the Barclays Kabelano Charity cup. “Guna Guna” as Gunners is known comes with a lot of youngsters who are yet to show off their potential, compared to Rollers who were very busy during the transfer window. Gunners only managed to bring forth a few unnoticed names among: Mponang Mponang from Township Rollers, the young newly signing Lesego Motlhabankwe, and Justice Dongwana.

Having brought in the likes of Motsholetsi Sikele, Kenanao “Flow” Kgetholetsile and Michael Pepukani just to mention a few Rollers are considered Championship candidates but the question can be, can Popa avenge the Kabelano loss and continue to shine through the whole 2013/2014 Be-mobile Premier League season?
